Good Morning Perfect Cone!
Since gradeschool days, it has always been a dream for me to personally see the majestic Mayon volcano in a nearer view. School textbooks and encyclopedias have said much about the picturesque almost symmetrical inverted cone shaped volcano, which is a very rare work of nature.
Still with the Naga hangover, I headed to the City of Fun and Adventure through a van in the terminal across SM Naga. It was an exciting three hour ride as you catch the different angles of the mountains between two cities. There is Mount Isarog, Mount Iriga, Mount Malinao and of course, the head turner Mount Mayon. You simply can't take your eyes off her. And I must say, just with that view, the long ride can never be boring.
There are many exciting things you can do in Legazpi City. When you're there be sure to visit San Gregorio Magno Cathedral, better known as the Albay Cathedral in Old Albay disrict. (Cont...)
